The Placement Cell regularly organises internship drives in collaboration with established companies, start-ups, and non-governmental organisations. These internships cover diverse profiles such as marketing, business development, finance, research, human resources, technical roles, and content writing. Organisations participating in these drives have included technology firms, consulting agencies, financial services companies, and creative industries.
2. Placement Drives
The Cell facilitates campus recruitment for full-time roles by coordinating with multinational corporations, start-ups, and national firms. Companies that have recruited through the Placement Cell include Ernst & Young, Accenture, BT Group, HCLTech, Decathlon, BDO Rise, Scaler, among others. 3. Annual Internship Fair - Converge
Converge is the flagship internship fair hosted annually by the Placement Cell of P.G.D.A.V. College. It is a mega interns fair and one of the primary events conducted by the Cell, drawing participation from industry-leading companies across diverse sectors. Corporate Catena is the official monthly blog of the Placement Cell, published on the Placement Cell website on 15th of every month. It is a content-driven platform featuring thoughtful, student-curated articles related to career insights, corporate culture, industry updates, placement stories, and professional development. The blog also includes interviews, opinion pieces, and career guidance content curated by both students and invited industry experts. Corporate Catena is aimed at fostering a knowledge-sharing environment within the college and beyond, offering valuable insights into various professional fields and real-world experiences.
7. Newsletter
The Placement Cell publishes a monthly newsletter on 1st of every month. that provides a comprehensive overview of all activities and developments within the Cell. It covers both major and minor details of events conducted throughout the month - including placement drives, internship drives, webinars, seminars, career readiness initiatives, and all other engagements hosted by the Cell. The newsletter serves as an official record and update platform, keeping students, faculty, and recruiters informed about the Cell’s continuous efforts and achievements.
8. Career Counseling and Student Support
The Placement Cell provides personalised support through career counseling sessions, resume and cover letter reviews, mock interviews, and aptitude test training. These initiatives are designed to prepare students comprehensively for professional recruitment processes.
