Placement Cell
The Placement Cell of P.G.D.A.V. College serves as an interface between the students and the corporate world. Apart from bringing various companies to the campus, the placement cell also organizes talks, study abroad seminars, internship opportunities and workshops for the collective student body.
In doing so, we ensure that we fulfil our primary focus of providing a helping hand to students in their initial step into the world of work, thereby creating a legacy. In our desire to be the best we have always believed in building everlasting bonds with our corporate partners. Excellence they say flows beyond boundaries and we at P.G.D.A.V. President, The Placement CellIt is a great honour to serve as the President of The Placement Cell at P.G.D.A.V. College for the academic year 2025–26. As I take the baton from the previous team, I aim to carry forward their legacy while striving to create more opportunities for students, help them grow, and build a stronger connection between college and the professional world.
In today’s fast-changing work environment, it’s important to not just provide placement and internship opportunities, but also to prepare students with the right skills and confidence to turn those opportunities into stepping stones for their careers. My team will be focused on reaching out to a wider range of companies from established ones to new startups across different fields. We want every student, irrespective of their stream, to find career options that align with their goals.
I also believe that preparing for life after college means more than just getting a job. We see our role in the Placement Cell as more than just arranging interviews. We’re here to support the growth, build confidence, and realise the dreams of the students of P.G.D.A.V. who place their trust in us. None of this will be possible without the hard work of my amazing team, the constant support of our faculty mentors, and the energy of our student community. We hope this year to be more than just numbers but be meaningful and full of learning.
